This works perfect for my bedroom windows in the summer. The sun rises so early in the summer that it’s hard to sleep in, and not be awake by 6 am. I have blinds so I wasn’t sure how to block out the sun. So I used this in white under my blinds directly on the window. Works like a dream! So happy with my purchase. They stay up great and blocks out the light. Look at the difference from one window compared to the other one. Great to use just for the summer when the sun comes up so early.

The quality of this is better than others I have tried. I was able to cut it to fit the areas I wanted it and I will say I suggest a flat surface to do this! It light blocks amazingly and my apartment is staying way cooler than it was. I live in central Texas and I have zero shade where I am. I highly recommend this product. It was fairly easy to hang once cut to fit the areas needed!! The second picture is take. During the day and no outside light is coming in just the glow from the tv

Arrived as expected. Packaged well. Instruction included, as well as all items needed to determine size needed. You will need a pair of scissors to cut after you have measured the area needing covering. I struggled a little to separate the double sided dots/tape. But once done they worked fine to hold the material to the window border. it does help prevent the house from getting as warm as it might. Light blocking is 100%. I have plenty of material (I ordered the two pack) and necessary items to secure to border of window.

The black out curtain is good. It really blocks the light from the windows. The only problem is the adhesive tape tends to wore out after a day or sometimes the adhesive tap comes after several hours. Its good to keep the room dark. Other than that the you need to use a lot of tape to keep the curtain from falling off.

Using these in our travel trailer to keep the heat out and prevent sun damage inside. Have used them in camp when there was no shade and they definitely helped and allowed the AC to do a better job. Especially like that they can be cut to size.

I bought supposed black out curtains from a dept store that stated they were blackout. After hanging them, they were so sheer i could see people on the other side of the window.

I LOVE this. I have odd windows in my bedroom and get up at 4 am for work and in the summer it’s light till 9:30 pm. Not only are my windows odd shape, I also have a window air conditioner.

This came in big sheets. After I laid it all out and measured the window I cut out the pieces I need to fit around the air-conditioning and the odd shaped window. They supply a stapler for you and velcro. The stapler is to staple the velcro to the curtain. So smart as the sticky velcro did not work on cloth.

The reason I choose to try this item, is because of the test in the video. They turned on the flashlight on their phone and we all know thats pretty bright and saw nothing so I gave it a try and am so happy I did.

My bedroom is pitch dark in the middle of the day. I go to bed at 7 pm and even my dogs come with me, thinking it’s night. The window faces south so it gets sun all day and heat and the velcro hasn’t budged.

Why didn’t I do this the first time. These are amazing at blacking out all light. And tge price is amazing. I would give 10 stars if I could.

The 🌟 were pretty, they were not that easy to put up, the sticky does not work too well but I guess that is why they added a stapler in the package. I would recommend getting magnetic with a strong sticky, they it will be easy to take curtains off if needed. They do very well to keep the light out, I use it in my vehicle as curtains helps keeps the sun out.

    Update!!!
I’m not removing my first review just updating after a few weeks of use. I’d say the material is nice and it does black out the window. It keeps some heat out of the house but the area around the window is still quite warm! Does it reflect heat I’m not really feeling as though it does. I feel like I could put an emergency blanket up there for better heat reflection than this. Not to mention they sent a stapler to staple the velcro on the corners BUT this doesn’t work… it’s not just the velcro that sticks to the material it’s also the one that sticks to the frame of the window. The corners fall all the time…. the velcro is worthless and i am going to have to improvise with some command straps. I don’t want to use the non removable white sticky dots sent because I don’t want to have to go through the pain to scrape them off. I’m taking 2 stars off my original 5 star review for quality and in ability to keep heat out.
All in all I kinda feel like I wasted money.

Ok hear me out, I live in sothern California further east away from the beach… it gets HOT here in the summer and our AC can’t hack it. I tinted my bedroom window and my sliding glass door because those don’t recieve direct sun all day long. My dining room and living room windows are on the same wall where they both get blasted by the sun.
I haven’t seen how well it keeps the heat out just yet but I can say it’s easy to install!!
I may make a modification by sewing the velcro pads on to the fabric as yes they don’t stick well to it when trying to remove the fabric from the window during the evening time. I may also eventually change the velcro altogether with long thin strips rather than the dots so it’s a consistent strip.
    All in all I’m happy.
