Such a lovely frame and with real glass. This will not fade over time like the plastic will. At any rate, the frame is well made. The gold accent is a little sloppy in the corners but this is only noticeable because I am writing a review. Sitting on a shelf or hanging on a wall or as a gift, that will never be noticed.

This is a good quality frame. I wish the pine had more depth, but it’s a dull pine distracts from all the rest of the frame that is about perfect. The materials are great. It’s well-made. It’s sturdy and durable. Look close at the pine as ‘what you see, is what you get.’ I might buy gold paint or stain and use a tiny artist’s brush to add some depth. I don’t begrudge the product by any means. I’m just mentioning that a potential consumer should zoom in and see how this seemingly unfinished pine fits their decor. This frame is as perfect as it gets otherwise and is exactly as described. The blasé white pine is only a matter of preference that I will try to work with. The frame stand is sturdy and picture stands up well. The glass is nice; not cheap or plastic-looking at all. It has a small ring for those who wish to place it on a wall. I would say these people left no stone unturned in quality and definitely would recommend!

The natural pine wood has a stunning satin finish, and the gold-toned rope edging adds the perfect vintage-meets-modern charm. It looks elegant without being too flashy, just quietly luxurious.
I placed a cherished photo of my mom and grandmother inside, and it fit perfectly. The clarity of the real glass brings their faces to life, and the frame instantly elevated the entire space. It coordinates seamlessly with my decor: black fixtures, gold accents, wood tones, it somehow ties it all together.

There was something about this frame that I immediately fell in love with when I saw it. I didn’t have an immediate need for an 8”x10” frame or 5”x7” frame for that matter either, but I really liked how classy this frame looked so I ordered it. When it arrived, I could tell that it was an excellent quality frame…it was packaged with care and had zero defects when removed from the packaging. The weight of the frame alone told me that the materials that were used to make it were better quality than many other frames in this price range on the market right now. It is clear that the wood used to make the frame is pine and not balsa, which much softer and not nearly as durable. The simplicity of the plain pine boarder trimmed by the outer rope carved boarder just makes this frame extra special and gives it a traditional vintage charm. The matting that is used is a 4-ply matting (approximately 1/16” thick) and is much better quality than I have seen on a lot of pre-matted frames; it is a bright white and is beveled white on the inner square. The window is indeed glass and feels like it is good quality, but I was unable to measure the thickness because it is glued into the frame which is an excellent touch! The corners of the frame are mitered and likely held together with a combination of glue and nails, they could have used staples, but because the angles are so flush it looks like nails were used. The backing is a traditional MDF backing, but it is black and not the common brown that is seen on most frames. It is held on by two backing clips/turn buttons that slide into the bottom edge of the frame. The frame comes with two triangle hooks attached, one on the vertical edge and the other on the horizontal edge allowing you to hang the frame in either direction. There is also a kickstand that is attached and secured with a ribbon so that the kickstand will not kick out too far; the kickstand also allows you to place the frame on a flat surface in a vertical or horizontal orientation. The only thing that this frame is missing is the hardware to hang it, but I have plenty of hanging materials, so I cannot complain about that. I ordered a print intentionally for this frame because I like it so much and want it up on my wall to show it off. Overall, this frame is just outstanding and has such a simple, beautiful, vintage charm to it and I cannot wait to hang it. I would LOVE to see this frame in larger sizes because I would gladly order more, but if I cannot get it in a larger size, I just might have to find more artwork that fits the sizes they carry because this frame is a definite winner in my book!

That alone makes the slightly higher price worth it in my opinion.
The gold-toned rope edging adds an elegant detail without being too flashy — it’s a soft, sophisticated gold, not overly yellow or shiny. The rest of the frame has a subtle white-silver border that complements it beautifully. It also comes with a white mat (matted to 5×7), but I love that you can swap it out for a different color mat to create the exact look you want.
Bonus: it comes nicely boxed, which makes it perfect for gifting — whether for a housewarming, wedding, or just a thoughtful personal touch.
Whether you hang it or place it on a tabletop, it’s versatile, timeless, and definitely feels like a step up from your average store frame.
