I’m thrilled with my purchase of the Blackout Curtains 63 Inch Length 2 Panels Set from Amazon! I was looking for a solution to block out the harsh sunlight in my bedroom, and these curtains have exceeded my expectations.
The material is thick, heavy, and of excellent quality. The thermal insulation is impressive, keeping my room cool in the summer and warm in the winter. But what really impresses me is the curtains’ ability to block light. They create a perfect blackout in my room, making it ideal for sleeping, relaxing, or watching TV during the day.
The grommet top design is sleek and modern, and the curtains are easy to install and slide smoothly along the rod. The 2-panel set is generous in size, covering my 52-inch wide window perfectly.
I’ve tried other blackout curtains in the past, but none have performed as well as these. The price is also very reasonable, especially considering the high quality and effectiveness of the product.
Overall, I highly recommend these blackout curtains to anyone looking to block out light and create a cozy, relaxing atmosphere in their home.

These are a pretty color red. They hold the light out of my Mom’s room. The size is perfect for what we need it for. The fabric seems to be good quality, too. Not bad for the price. They came in very quick.

Pros: They look great! I can tell during winter weather they’ll keep my apartment a constant warmth. Being energy efficient.
Cons: During the summer they seem to turn my apartment into a heat trap. Air conditioning is a must! I live in one of these old 2-story houses, turned into a fourplex. I’m a person who’s been using window fans during the summer to manage the heat; from morning to night pull hot air out, evening until night pull cool air in. Been doing that since 2010, here in Roanoke, Va since I left West Palm Beach, FL — but I digress. These curtains turned my apartment into a heat trap, hence the term I didn’t pay attention to until now, “thermal insulated”. The curtains block out a lot of light, but become heat pockets that create a hot muggy atmosphere. The curtains are big enough to where I can fit one in the bedroom and one in the living room. In the kitchen I just have window blinds and a two-fan window unit. This is where getting a window a/c is now necessary. This is where I’m torn. Before, I would have $40 and $50 light bills during spring, summer and half of fall. And during the winter, run a little space heater to heat during the rest of fall and winter, which would range from $90 to $150 on a month-to-month basis. From the end of May to August is the warm to hot seasons. The rest of the year is cool to freezing, depending on which part of the year. I’m not sure how much my power bill will increase during the hot months, but I’m sure that during the cool to frigid months the bill will decrease. That’s where the heat trap problem will become a benefit. I suspect that during June, July and August I’ll have $100+ power bills from running a window a/c. And have perhaps $70 to $80 bills during Dec, Jan, Feb, March. During the spring, just let the windows open and have $40 power bills. Pretty much do the same during Sept and Oct, then in November close up and not run anything the same.
Conclusion: I wanted something that keeps out heat as much as it does light. Thermal insulated blackout curtains aren’t the answer. One solution is to have window blinds instead and have sheers so that nothing from the outside can be seen through the string holes in each strip. But if you’re an a/c type of person already, then everything mentioned above about these curtains is just noise.

AMAZING! Beautiful curtains, the material feels like high, durable quality and it is THICK! Unlike other blackout curtains that have the plastic-like panel in them, these are just solid, soft material and they WORK!! I have west facing windows and these take care of the light perfectly, making my room nice and cozy especially in the late setting summer sun. The length and width was perfect too. I can’t say enough positive things other than; if you need blackout curtains that look sleek, elegant, and do the job, these are hands down a great choice! Definitely will buy more for other rooms in the house!

These blinds were great and easy to set up. They are pretty thick and helped stop the sun during the day when it was really hot outside. Installation was a breeze thanks to the sturdy silver grommets, and the panels arrived wrinkle-free and ready to hang. They haven’t changed color or size while I was washing them and still look great.

Super good blackout curtains! Blocks the light so it feels like night all the time (which was the goal)! The look is also high quality, it looks more expensive than it is! They’re also easy to install and are the perfect size for my windows since I have longer rather than short and wide windows. The curtains are also wrinkle resistant as well as what appears to be pet hair resistant, and that’s quite a bit of a bonus for me since I have a dog and two cats! I would definitely order again!

These are super nice! They are blackout for sure. I sold my home and I’m living in a garage apt until the new house is built so I got these to use as a room divider to separate the sleeping area from the living area and these work great. I also bought this for the frame: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DZGYF7B4?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details&th=1 (also highly recommended). The curtains offer just the right amount of light during the day (if they are fully closed) and keep the light from the tv blacked out at night (my husband goes to sleep about 3 hours before me). This was exactly what we needed! I will say they are very long tho. Hanging from the top of the 8 foot ceiling, we have about a foot of extra curtain on the floor. I did pin up the 2 curtains we move daily and it helped. This is my only complaint but not enough to give it 4 stars since the dimensions were included in the description.
